Christina + Charlie / Pefferlaw Wedding Photography / Unique River Wedding
Christina & Charlie
Wedding Date: September 13, 2014
Wedding Ceremony: Pefferlaw River
Wedding Reception: Pefferlaw Lions Community Centre
Toronto Wedding Photographer: Matt Trimble Photography
When I first met Christina and I was so excited by the uniqueness of it. She told me how she would be arriving by boat to the ceremony which was happening right on the river. Of course I was thrilled to do their Pefferlaw wedding photography. We started the day with Christina, her mother and bridesmaids getting ready for the day.
Next it was time to check on the guys who had been helping with the rain contingency plan throughout the morning. They had just finished setting up the tent for the ceremony and were starting to get into their suits although some just didn’t want to give up the cowboy boots.
Once the guys were suited up it was off to one of the most unique ceremony entrances I have ever seen. Taking place right on the river the bridesmaids made their entrance by boat. Christina, saving the best for last, came down the river in an amphibious car with her dad. After driving out at the boat launch her dad walked her down the aisle to give her away to her new husband. After the beautiful ceremony, Christina and Charlie drove away together and back down the river.
Upon returning it was time for some photos of the newlyweds and then on to the reception as everyone was itching to get the party started!
The reception was a blast with some hilarious speeches that kept everyone laughing out loud as well as some fond memories and loving advice. Charlie’s car got made into an awesome cake. The day finished with a beautiful dance by the newlyweds before opening up the dance-floor for everyone to join in.
Congratulations Christina and Charlie!
