An Easy Start at Home
When I arrived at their East York home, I was welcomed by a cozy room that felt lived-in, and full of love. Their two-year-old daughter was already curious, flashing a shy smile before quickly nestling into her mom’s arms. It was clear from the start—this session would be relaxed, fun, and all about real moments.
Instead of rushing out to a big location, we started where they felt most comfortable—on their own couch, in their own space. The beauty of an at-home session is that everything feels natural and effortless—no scrambling to get out the door, no worries about the weather, no pressure to “perform” for the camera.
Snuggling close with mom on the couch, the little one giggling as her dad whispered something silly in her ear. These are the moments that matter—the tiny, everyday interactions that make up a family’s love.
A Walk Through the Neighborhood: Watching the Seasons Change
After some time indoors, we slipped on coats and stepped outside. Their East York neighborhood was alive with the colors of fall—rich oranges, deep reds, and golden yellows. The walk felt easy and natural, a simple morning stroll where they could just be together while I captured the in-between moments.
Hand-in-hand, they wandered down familiar streets, their daughter toddling between them, her tiny fingers gripping theirs. No posing, no pressure—just real, honest family moments.

Ending the Session at the Local Park

Our last stop was a small local park just a short walk away. The little one was ready to play and it was fun to capture swinging, playing and making funny faces. I absolutely love capturing moments like these for my clients to look back on. Kids grow way too fast (As a dad myself, I can’t believe it!) and having these moments frozen to look at and share are going to be priceless to look back on.
